Popa Falls Resort :

The Popa Falls Resort is situated on the banks of the Okavanago River at the last rapids before the river enters Botswana and the Okavango Delta. This rustic resort, situated 15km from the Mahango Game Reserve, is the perfect stop-over when travelling between the Khaudum and Mahango Game Reserves.

Important Information:

The resort is open throughout the year, from sunset to sunrise.

No more than 4 persons are allowed per hut.

Kiosk, fire wood and water available.

Angling only allowed with a permit obtainable at the resort office.

No pets or motorcycles allowed.
Accommodation:

River Cabins with bedding and towels, communal facilities and field kitchen with crockery & cuttlery.

Restaurant hours: open 7h00 - 9h00, 12h00 - 14h00, 18h00 - 22h00; meal times 7h00 - 8h30, 12h00 - 13h30, 18h00 - 20h30.

Shop hours: 8h00 - 17h00; Bar hours: 12h00 - 14h00, 18h00 - 22h00.

Landing Strip:
At Bagani 5km from Popa Falls. Landing and transport from airstrip must be arranged in advance directly with resorts and on arrival the resort must be circled if transport is needed.

IMPORTANT NOTICE dated 03 May 2006: Namibia Wildlife Resorts Ltd. which operates this resort has imposed the following payment requirements: a 10% non-refundable deposit of the room rate is due latest 10 days after reservation is made. The remaining balance also non-refundable is due 55 days before arrival. In case of change in reservation the 10% non-refundable deposit for the original reservation is forfeited.
