Namushasha Lodge, Namushasha Lodge, on the banks of the Kwando river, opposite the west Caprivi Game park, offers you, the visitor, an unique experience in Namibia's sub-tropical region - the CapriviI. Listen to the call of the wild from one of the 27 bungalows, each with its own toilet and shower. Enjoy boat trips and fishing; bird watching ( over 400 species recorded ); guided game drives and walks.
Namushasha Lodge, with pool, bar and own landing strip is 3 hours flight from Windhoek, 20 Km from the Kongola tarred road, 430Km by road from Rundu, 140Km from Katima Mulilo and 380Km from Victoria Falls.
Photograph rare animals to Namibia such as Hippo, Sable Antelope, Lechwe, Tsessebe and Buffalo to name a few, or "feel" the wild African night on our spotlight-rides by boat or vehicle to observe crocodiles and nocturnal animals at close quarters. The west caprivi Game Park is 3 minutes away by boat or 30Km by vehicle. The Mudumu and Mamili National Parks are 12Km and 70Km by road, respectively. At Namushasha Lodge you can relax and enjoy an unspoilt Africa.
Fishing on the Kwando is exceptional. Try your luck on a Tiger Fish and have a fishing experience of a lifetime.
